Friends of the Marion COA (FMCOA) works with the COA to bring happiness to older adults through positive experiences and enhanced services that extend beyond the limitations of the Town of Marion's budget and awarded grants. We do this through financial support for service programs, social events, and more. We help older adults enjoy life and affirm their place in our community.
To help us continue we need your financial help! Please become an FMCOA member by making your donation today. The Friends of the Marion COA is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Your donation will be tax-deductible.

A robust membership base not only demonstrates community commitment but also enhances our capacity to support the Council on Aging (COA) and Marion seniors. Membership is flexible, allowing you to participate in ways that suit your preferences—whether attending our Annual Meeting each October, volunteering at events like the annual Yard Sale, or simply contributing through an annual donation. By becoming a member, we will keep you up to date on everything that is happening to benefit seniors in Marion. Every form of involvement strengthens our mission.

Volunteering with FMCOA provides direct support to programs and events that bring joy and essential services to our senior community. From assisting at social gatherings to participating in fundraising activities, your involvement makes a meaningful difference. FMCOA is currently looking for photographers and individuals with a modest level of technology skills. To learn more on how to help the Friends, email us at [email protected].
Many of our members volunteer at the COA, which maintains a volunteer roster for people wishing to provide hands-on support at the Center. To learn more on how to help at the COA, or to get on their volunteer list, please call 508-748-3570.

Alternatively, if you prefer to send a check, please download and complete our membership form. All checks should be payable to “FMCOA” and mailed to P.O. Box 937, Marion, MA 02738. We will provide you with an acknowledgment.
